Electronics enclosures for IoT applications
For more than 50 years the classic Euromas industrial enclosures have been an integral part of Bopla Gehäuse Systeme GmbH’s product range. With two materials, basic designs and lid variants each, Euromas X satisfies the typical demands made of IoT devices – with no compromises! At the same time, and with its new sizes, the enclosure variant fills the gaps in the Euromas range. The Internet of Things (IoT) requires the capture and processing of large quantities of data in almost all aspects of life and everywhere in the world. Operating the devices used for this purpose should, of course, be as easy as possible. Normally this means fewer and simpler keys and status displays which ideally are combined in a single membrane keypad. At the same time, the devices must be installed quickly and without any problems at the place of use – and when possible without any need to open the device. Two materials, two basic designs and two lid variants No problem for Euromas X. In all cases, the new enclosure, available with or without moulded-on wall brackets for problem-free mounting, has a recessed surface for the integration of membrane keypads. As for enclosure materials, the customer can choose between ABS for cost-optimised applications and polycarbonate (PC) for use in challenging circumstances. For Euromas X enclosures made of PC, and in addition to the opaque lid, BOPLA offers a crystal-clear lid. The classic Euromas enclosure colour is light grey (similar to RAL 7035). Additional sizes With regard to the sizes of the new Euromas X enclosure, BOPLA took into consideration the requirements of typical IoT devices. Numerous intermediate sizes and square designs fill a number of gaps in the Euromas range.

Enclosure as brand ambassador: BOPLA develops customised solutions for modern electronics
For a long time, grey, rectangular enclosures dominated industry, mechanical engineering and infrastructure. This design is still in demand because it is robust, space-saving and versatile. At the same time, requirements have changed: design, feel and usability now play a central role wherever electronics are visible and used regularly. ‘Today, an enclosure is much more than just a protective shell,’ says Mathias Bünte from BOPLA. ‘It becomes a visible part of the product and a carrier of brand and product values. Especially with complex technology, the external appearance is becoming increasingly important.’ From protective enclosure to user interface This development is driven by modern operating concepts from consumer electronics. Enclosures are increasingly functioning as three-dimensional user interfaces. In addition to buttons, switches and indicator lights, digital components such as touch displays, sensors, light elements and antennas are being integrated. BOPLA develops enclosures that meet these requirements while also incorporating the brand's colour and design language. This allows industrial devices, such as controls in agricultural or construction machinery, to be integrated into a holistic brand experience. Material and manufacturing diversity This diversity is based on a broad spectrum of manufacturing and processing technologies. In addition to plastic injection moulding, aluminium profile, aluminium die-casting and stamping-bending technology, BOPLA also relies on additive processes such as 3D printing. Customised solutions are also possible for surfaces and colours. The high level of vertical integration enables machining, coating, painting, printing and system integration from a single source. ‘We can produce both large series and small, exclusive quantities,’ says Bünte. ‘From housing machining to the integration of electronic components, we create solutions that are precisely tailored to our customers' requirements.’

Entering new dimensions. With OHT.
To equip large work areas with just one system, we bring five components into play. Combined in different ways, they allow us to customise the dimensions of your work area. Specifically, we are talking about a steel structure, an aluminium rail system, a lifting system, electric drive modules and a load handling attachment. The OHT system opens up new spatial and technical dimensions. Large work areas can be equipped with modular technology, which the customer can put together according to their wishes and requirements. In addition to many standard components, the OHT system offers many optional components, such as drive modules, dust protection, camera in tooling, control box or limit switches, to name but a few. An infinite range of possibilities to turn complex requirements into a smooth work process. The new OHT system is used for charging and discharging electrode rollers. In other words, at manufacturers of batteries for electric cars, where safe loading and unloading of the machines is essential. In principle, however, all applications are conceivable in which heavy loads have to be moved freely in space within large working areas. The size of the OHT system is based on the given dimensions of the work area and can be customised. The OHT system can also be integrated into an existing production line. If customised software is required for this, a special control system is also possible. The tooling can also be customised according to the load to be picked up. With the OHT system, lifting and moving processes in large work areas can be organised efficiently, safely and ergonomically. As the dimensions can be customised and the tooling adapted accordingly, customers get a tailor-made solution that makes them happy. Because it fits.

EP Equipment at LogiMAT 2026!
What a week. What a show. LogiMAT 2026 will stay with us for a long time—not just as our biggest trade show ever, but for the energy, conversations, and clear sense that our industry is shifting. This year, EP Equipment showed up bigger than ever: two floors, over 200 m², and a clear purpose. From day one, the booth was alive—welcoming returning partners, new visitors, dealers, and an increasing number of end users ready to act on automation now. Even major industry players stopped by to engage, ask questions, and see how EP is shaping the future of intralogistics. At the center was our Automation Arena, with a two-story platform offering a full view of machines, systems, and ideas in motion. Automation was key, but always part of a bigger ecosystem—from entry-level pallet trucks to advanced forklifts—giving customers the flexibility to start simple and scale. The EXP15 and EXP20 smart pallet trucks showed how easy automation can be: simple setup, DIY routes, and immediate impact. The most common reaction: “We didn’t realize automation could be this easy.” In the stacking area, the XQE122 demonstrated efficient dense stacking across various load types, highlighting how valuable warehouse space can be reclaimed. The XNA101 impressed with dual picking in narrow aisles—intuitive, efficient, and powerful at first glance. A true highlight was DASP, combined with our humanoid robot, showcasing simple goods-to-person picking: fast, flexible, and ready in days—not months. But more than anything, LogiMAT 2026 was about people. Conversations turned into plans, partnerships grew stronger, and momentum built across the board. To everyone who visited, supported, and made this happen—thank you. This wasn’t just our biggest show. It was a glimpse of what’s next.

Filics presents new product generation: the Filics Streamliner
Flatter, stronger, faster Flatter: The new, lower vehicle height expands the range of supported load carriers. Stronger: Newly developed lifting modules increase robustness - even under high loads. Faster: The new arrangement of laser scanners expands the field of view. This enables more reliable localization as well as higher travel speeds. In addition, the new software improves navigation in tight environments and enables more efficient driving maneuvers. The Filics Unit is an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) for floor-based pallet transport and consists of two physically separate robotic skids. Thanks to its particularly flat and compact design, the Filics Unit picks up pallets and similar load carriers directly from the floor -without handover stations -while requiring hardly more space than the pallet itself. This makes it possible to implement new automation processes even in extremely confined spaces. Manufacturing companies in particular, with tight and organically grown building structures, value the small footprint of the Filics Unit. In addition, pallets can be fully driven underneath - a truly unique and exclusive feature ofFilics. This enables completely new processes, such as pushing pallets in line storage systems, serving floor block storage areas, or loading trucks.
