FLEXI COMPACT SECURITY CONTROLLER OFFERS CYBERSECURITY WITH VISION

IEC 62443-4-1/2 CERTIFICATION – MILESTONE FOR SECURE AUTOMATION

In November 2025, the Flexi Compact safety controller from SICK received IEC 62443-4-1/2 certification from TÜV Süd. It thus meets the cybersecurity-relevant requirements for a demonstrably secure and documentable development process as well as for the technical requirements and functions of components. The Flexi Compact is currently one of the few products of its kind in the world whose cybersecurity is consistently certified – and which also has the EU type examination certificate in accordance with the new Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023/1230.
