Eplan provides software and service solutions in the fields of electrical, automation and mechatronic engineering. The company develops one of the world’s leading design software solutions for machine and panel builders. Eplan is also the ideal partner to streamline challenging engineering processes.
Both standardised as well as customised interfaces to ERP and PLM/PDM systems ensure data consistency along the whole value chain. Clever Software for Wiring for Panel Building EPLAN Smart Wiring is your virtual assistant for manual wiring in panel building. From the connection point to the exact wire routing, the software provides the wiring technician all the necessary information in digital form – also in 3D when required.
EPLAN Cable proD
EPLAN Cable proD is a solution for quick and easy cabling of machines. The software digitises the corresponding designs and provides the information required for production and assembly. This means that prefabricated cables can also be used. Cable planning based on the plug & play principle Precision is required when constructing machines – all the way through to the final steps: if the cables don’t have the correct lengths or have been incorrectly routed, it is not uncommon for entire commissioning processes to have to be postponed. EPLAN has therefore dedicated an entire software solution for planning the corresponding machine cabling: EPLAN Cable proD. This also makes it easy to order prefabricated cables. Time-consuming trimming and offcuts are now a thing of the past.
EPLAN Electric P8
The ECAD Standard for Your Engineering – More Than Just Drawing Schematics EPLAN Electric P8 is a consistent, integrated and fast engineering system for you to plan and design the electrical engineering for machines and plant systems. The software supports a wide variety of engineering methods: from manual creation through to standardised and template-based approaches. The project data, once entered into the schematic, become the foundation for the automated completion of machine and plant system documentation. In short, EPLAN Electric P8 offers you much more than “just” drawing schematics and circuit diagrams.
ERP, PDM and PLM Integration | Software Integration Platform
Is there a gap between the ECAD system and the ERP or PDM system in your company? Consistent data flows ensure transparency in the product development process. The EPLAN Integration Suite, as the name implies, creates integrations into existing ERP, PDM and PLM system landscapes, allowing you to optimise your work processes from schematics to master data. The fast and customised provision of data takes place in a bi-directional exchange between systems without you ever having to leave your working environment within the EPLAN Platform.
