Our modern production environment combines SMT and THT assembly, component assembly, cable assembly and mechanical integration under one roof. With precise process control and continuous quality assurance, we ensure consistently high product quality – even for complex projects. Series production naturally includes extensive testing and inspection procedures, including AOI, flying probe and functional tests, which guarantee maximum reliability. This is complemented by professional rework and repair management, which guarantees long-term delivery capability and service. Passivating | Coating | Potting
When electronics are used in harsh environments, it is not only functionality that counts, but also durability. dresden elektronik protects assemblies and devices with tailor-made protective coatings, encapsulation solutions and passivation processes that significantly extend service life and prevent failures. Our processes meet the requirements of a wide range of applications – from industrial and transport technology to demanding outdoor applications. With high-quality coatings and encapsulants, we reliably protect electronic components from moisture, dust, chemical influences and temperature fluctuations. A particular highlight is our MYC50 coating: a high-strength, transparent protective coating with excellent electrical insulation properties and optimised corrosion protection. It is applied precisely by spraying or dipping and is suitable for both series production and special applications. Depending on requirements, full encapsulation, partial coatings or selective passivation are used – always tailored to the respective product design and the desired degree of protection.
Equipment manufacturing and cable assembly
From individual cables to fully assembled devices: dresden elektronik offers comprehensive services in device construction and cable assembly – everything from a single source, everything 100% made in Germany. Our production combines electronics, mechanics and assembly to create perfectly coordinated complete systems. Thanks to our in-house cable assembly, mechanical component manufacturing and final assembly, we deliver ready-to-install devices that are precisely tailored to customer requirements – whether single items, small batches or series production. In the field of cable assembly, we process stranded, ribbon, round and coaxial cables with the highest precision. Crimping, soldering, stripping, pressing or connector assembly – each step is carried out according to certified processes and is checked before the connection becomes part of a device. In device construction, we combine electronics, housings and mechanics to create durable, robust and service-friendly systems. On request, we also take care of the assembly of operating and display elements, labelling, testing and packaging – including final testing and documentation. Thanks to the direct connection to our development and production areas, our customers benefit from short lead times, technical coordination and maximum flexibility – even with a wide range of variants or short-term adjustments.
